I agree with the sentiment Patsy, and there are a great number of good arguments for disarming - or, better training - US police.
However, I would be careful you statistics like the ones shown, particularly in an argument as important as this one. Take your second graph. Police in the US killed 1,099 people, meanwhile in the same year Canadian police killed 36. That's a difference of over 3000%. However, the United States is considerably larger than Canada. If you take proportionality into account US (328mil/1,099) and Canada (37mil/36), it comes out to a 340% difference: that is, the US having 3.4 times more police shootings that Canada. Is that still a lot? Yes, but not 30 times as many!
