If we break down, "woke radical left" each word perfectly hits on a Republican anxiety. "Woke" = a shift away in traditional American social norms, towards a world of political correctness and cancel culture (where many R values would not be tolerated). "Radical" = a movement which is facilitated through violent action and extreme opposition to the ideas which it opposes (giving "wokeness" its teeth). "Left" = straight from the 20th century right wing play book, playing on the legacy of red-scare era propaganda efforts.

Truly a perfect storm for alienated right-wing voters, especially those who don't even know a 'woke radical leftist' in real life.
